我高二的英语老师写过一首小诗，我十分喜爱，深有同感。

(To My Lawyer in Case of Accident)
Please read this before my will

Robert Johnston

I don't want to survive
When only science and medicine
Can keep me alive
With no chance I'll revive
People who love
Will continue to strive
Continue to drive
Continue to arrive
Continue to be alive
Without wasting any more time
Or energy on me
Or on my memory
Just let me
Disappear from history
Because it really wasn't so pretty
And neither was I

大意：
不想这样活/当只有仪器/能维持我的生命/不再能够康复/愿我爱的人/还能继续奋斗/继续旅行/继续到达/继续活着/别再浪费时间/为我/或是为我的回忆/就让我/从历史中消失/因为她并不那么美丽/而我也一样
